Academic Achievements

Dr. Sharma has supervised more than 18 PhD scholars in the fields of botany, biochemistry, monument conservation and biodeterioration. Her paramount guidance has escalated the scholars into various reputed institutes as teachers and professors. She has also published more than 150 highly reputed journal and papers. She has chaired numerous international conferences, have presented papers in Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mauritius and Dubai. She has been a thorough reviewer of multiple highly esteemed Journals and also serves as editorial board members of them. She has also published numerous books in the fields of botany and remote sensing. She has also contributed to the scientific socities through efficient completion of multiple Major Research Projects by UGC.

Administrative Achievements

Dr. Sharma portrays a perfect blend of an efficient academician and a great administrative personnel. She is IQAC and NAAC coordinator of the Institute and through immersion of strategic vision and planning, the Institute achieved B++ grade during their First NAAC assessment cycle. Not only this, she organizes countless brain storming events, quizzes and activities through the support of other departments as well resulting into all-round holistic and intellectual development of students' skills as well as attributes.
